District Youth Resources Officer (YRO), Mokokchung has announced a district level “Youth Festival” for young individuals aged between 16 to 29 years in Mokokchung district. This festival promised to be a celebration of youthful talent and culture, featuring folk song and folk-dance competitions.
For folk song competition, each participating group may consist of a minimum of 6 members and a maximum of 10 members. While for folk dance competition, each participating group may consist of a minimum of 10 members and a maximum of 15 members.
Prizes for the folk song competition will be Rs. 3000/- for the 1st prize and Rs. 2000/- for the 2nd prize.
For the folk-dance competition, 1st prize will be Rs. 5000/- and 2nd prize will be Rs. 3000/-
Winners at the district level will earn a chance to represent Mokokchung district at the Youth Festival in Kohima.
