The meeting of District Task Force for Immunization (DTFI) convened on February 20 at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Mokokchung, under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner, Ajay Moktan.
During the meeting, SMO WHO, Dr. M. A. H. Azhar, presented updates on Vaccine Preventable Surveillance and MR elimination. He highlighted the district’s performance in routine immunization and shared the status of Zero Dose, PZD, MR-1 and MR-2. Discussing district performance, Dr. Limanaro, DPO (UIP & RCH), noted that indicators had shown improvement. She encouraged members to continue coordinated efforts and informed that healthcare workers had been conducting regular home visits to vaccine-hesitant parents, addressing queries and fears to reduce missed-out and drop-out cases.
