Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has informed all the business establishments, shopkeepers and traders that all single-use plastic products have been totally banned in DMC jurisdiction with immediate effect.
In an order, DMC administrator Albert Ezung cautioned that failure to comply with the order would invite penalty of 2000 and even lead to cancellation of license.
