Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) through its Chief Executive Officer, Thungchanbemo Tungoe has directed all shops under DMC to paint shops for aesthetic looks and also to hang Christmas stars atop shops during the festive season.
CEO also informed all shops to purchase Christmas stars from designated DMC official(s) which will be sold at a minimum price to maintain uniformity.
Further the CEO also reminded that waste bin are to be kept in and around shops which were from the DMC office.
In this regard, CEO said DMC is introducing waste bin with DMC logo to streamline waste and garbage management. Further the DMC Sanitation Committee has been authorized to check and issue dustbin to all shopkeepers under DMC.
