Dimapur Municipal Council Employees Welfare Union (DMC-EWU) has appreciated Muslim Council Dimapur (MCD) for awarding an “appreciation certificate” to DMC administrator H. Atokhe Aye at a felicitation programme on June 14, which was given away by chief minister T.R. Zeliang.
In a press release, DMC-EWU president Badal Bhadra and general secretary T. Revo Anar said recognition by MCD to its administrator was an inspiration to the council to work better. DMC-EWU also appreciated the chief minister for allowing DMC to collect toll tax, saying it was only through wise decision of Zeliang, the council could collect revenue and carry out developmental activities.
Further, DMC-EWU feted Atokhe Aye and said under his leadership DMC has done many developmental activities. It also urged him to continue to use his wisdom to led the council for the overall development of Dimapur.
