Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has notified that the last date for renewal of the existing registered trade license has been extended for a period of 15 days i.e., up to May 15, 2023.
In a press release, DMC administrator, W Manpai Phom has informed that this would be the last and final relaxation to provide fair opportunity and to facilitate all the existing registered trade license defaulters under DMC to renew their license.
DMC said all registered trade license defaulters who do not turn up for renewal up to May 15 shall be cancelled without further notice and no claim/relaxation shall be entertained thereafter. It said the list of the defaulting trade license year wise from the year 2006 onwards was prepared and put up in the DMC notice board.
Further, DMC informed that registration of new/fresh trade license w.e.f. May 16 shall be taken up as per the new terms and conditions provided under the new digital trade license management system.
