Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has fixed rate for meat and poultry and has notified all dealers, butchers and cut meat sellers to sell their products as per the rate approved by the council.
In a press release, DMC administration, Albert Ezung informed that the council on Friday conducted a surprise checking and seized poultry and meat which were sold at higher rates than as prescribed by DMC. Ezung informed that the defaulters were penalised. He has also asked public to contact DMC at 9862929908/8974807024/8575808077 for any grievances.
