DIMAPUR, MAY 21 (NPN): Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has informed all the business establishments operating within its jurisdiction that any entity intending to put up temporary advertisements or hoardings to mandatorily obtain prior permission from DMC.
In a notice, Dimapur Municipal Council chief executive cfficer (CEO), Thungchanbemo Tungoe, stated the directive was being issued with a view to regulate unauthorized displays and maintaining the urban aesthetics and civic order of the city.
DMC stated that establishments or companies with existing valid contracts with DMC were exempted from the directive.
Therefore, DMC has directed all concerned to strictly comply with its order.
It cautioned that non-compliance would attract appropriate action as per relevant provisions under the Nagaland Municipal Act, 2023 and other applicable laws.
Last date for renewal of Trade Lic May 31
Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) chief executive cfficer, in another notification, informed all the business establishments operating under Dimapur Municipal Council jurisdiction that last date for renewal of trade licenses is May 31, 2025.
All license holders have been directed to renew their trade licenses on or before the due date to avoid imposition of late fines as per the provisions of the Nagaland Municipal Act 2023 and relevant DMC regulations.
Dimapur Municipal Council informed that no further extension would be entertained.
