Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has launched the “Swachh Diwali Shubh Diwali” campaign starting November 6 to November 12 under Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0.
In a circular, DMC Administrator W. Manpai Phom informed all the GB’s /Colony Chairmen under DMC jurisdiction that the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) to disseminate information and make wide publicity for Citizens/Public involvement and participation to make this Diwali a Single Use Plastic and Pollution Free Event and strictly enforce ban on use of fire crackers in their respective ward/colony. DMC has requested all concerned for strict compliance to make the campaign a success.
