DMC notice on demolition

Poised to restart the next phase of operation demolition which it said would be on a large scale, the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has issued notices to 47 individuals whose buildings, business establishments, structures etc illegally stand along Circular Road, asking them to clear it within 7 days after which it would demolish those. DMC members in a press briefing at its chairperson’s chamber said it would carry out the next phase from July 22. Meanwhile, the DMC has also requested various students’ unions to come forward and assist them in cleaning Dimapur.
