Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has informed dealers generating e-waste within municipal jurisdiction that it was mandatory to segregate and store the e-waste separately as per the provisions of the E-waste Management Rules, 2016 as amended by the E-waste (Amendment) Rules, 2018. In a order, DMC administrator, Moa Sangtam, authorised E-Circle to be the collecting agency for this purpose and informed all concerned to co-operate with the E-Circle.
