In view of the forthcoming festive season, the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has informed all the shopkeepers/commercial building owners under DMC jurisdiction to whitewash/paint walls, shutters, doors with white and blue colours.
In a circular, DMC administrator, Moa Sangtam, also directed them to decorate and illuminate their respective shops/buildings with decorative lights of low energy consumption by November 30, 2017.
Meanwhile, DMC has also asked all the shop keepers/business establishments other than workshops and industries to keep their respective shops open all Sundays after Sunday service timing w.e.f. November 15, 2017 till January 1, 2018.
