Dimapur Municipal Council has reminded all the shopkeepers/business establishments within its jurisdiction to stop using/selling non biodegradable poly bags. In a notification, DMC administrator H.Atokhe Aye said anyone found using any form of non-biodegradable poly bags other than 40 microns or above would be penalised with fine followed by seizure of stocks and other legal course of action, which could lead up to cancellation of trade licence.
