DMC parking at New Market to be operational

Dimapur police have informed that the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) market cum parking facility at New Market has been completed and would be operational shortly.
Commissioner of Police Dimapur, Kevithuto Sophie, stated that to ensure the smooth flow of traffic, one-way traffic regulations would be put into place with effect from February 13.
All vehicles proceeding towards New Market from NL Road side would enter only through the market area and would exit towards GS road. Parking for vehicles entering from NL Road is only permitted below the newly constructed parking area where specific parking locations for two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
Further, all vehicles proceeding towards New Market from Dhobinala side would enter only through the newly constructed parking facility and would exit towards NL Road. Parking for vehicles entering from Dhobinala side is only permitted on the newly constructed parking facility. Parking for four-wheelers would be strictly prohibited from army supply police point towards New Market entrance.
