DMC permits door-to-door delivery

Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) administrator Albert Ezung has informed public that six (6) firms and groups have been permitted to undertake door-to-door delivery of essential commodities such as grocery/green vegetables and fruits within DMC.

The permit holders include: Meat & More (8118977906); Freshzola (8119037071); Ahibo L.L.B (8837062880); Nagaland Two Wheeler Taxi Association Dimapur dist (9774171883);Tribal Spoon (9366573196) and The Delivery (8575041286).

The permit holders are to ensure proper sanitation procedures by wearing hand gloves, mask and maintaining at least two-meter distance from customers.

DMC has also prescribed delivery not to exceed Rs.50. Permit holders can deliver essential items on a 24×7 basis. Also permit holders cannot charge more than the approved market rates. Permit holders are to comply all directives passed either by DMC,state and central government from time to time. The permit are valid till further notice . The administrator has also clarified that permits were valid till further notice and may be cancelled in the event of breach of contract or in the event of any  dispute in future.
