DIMAPUR, OCT 29 (NPN): Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has reiterated its earlier order permitting shops and commercial establishments within its jurisdiction to open after 12 noon on Sundays.
In a press release, DMC chief executive officer Dr. Kuzonyi Wideo advised shopkeepers, traders and business establishments to adhere to the prescribed timings and cooperate in maintaining the orderly functioning of commercial activities in Dimapur.
DMC said the measure was intended to ensure public convenience and the smooth conduct of business, and sought the cooperation of all stakeholders.
