DMC relocates street food vendors to Naga Arcade

After having been barred from setting up night food stalls from Clock Tower to Popular Bakery for obstruction of traffic and movement of pedestrians besides complaints from nearby colonies, the food truck/food cart street vendors have been reallocated space in the Naga Shopping Arcade (Super Market).
According to DMC administrator W. Manpai Phom, in pursuance to the decision of the joint meeting on May 10 and as per the joint verification team recommendation, interested individuals/parties have been asked to apply for trade/vending permit from the DMC office after furnishing/submitting documents along with the application.
The documents include site/space allocation certificate from Development Authority of Nagaland, certificate from licensing authority, Food Safety Administration Dimapur Zone, CMO office, Dimapur and no objection/clearance certificate from DCP (traffic), Dimapur.
