DMC reminds on use of poly bags

Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has reminded all the traders, business establishments, shopkeepers and general public that deadline for use of non-biodegradable poly bag would expire on November 30, 2015. In a notification, DMC administrator H. Atokhe Aye has therefore informed all responsible no to use any form of non-biodegradable poly bags other than 40 microns with effect from December 2015. DMC cautioned that anyone violating the order would be penalized as per rules.
