DMC to hold mass social work on June 5

DIMAPUR, JUN 3 (NPN)

As part of World Environment Day 2025, the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) would conduct a mass social work on June 5 under its jurisdiction in collaboration with various civil society organizations.
In this regard, the Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) through its media cell has appealed to all the owners of shops and business establishments to remain closed from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and clean their shop fronts and surroundings.
DMC had also directed shopkeepers to clean their surrounding with emphasis on removing plastic and non-biodegradable waste from roadsides and drains, and deposit collected plastic waste at the designated collection point at Clock Tower.
