DMC to inspect non-motorised vehicles

Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has informed that its small vehicle branch would conduct inspection of all non-motorised vehicles within DMC jurisdiction from September 8 onwards.
DMC chief executive officer Thungchanbemo Tungoe said the inspection would cover handcarts, pushcarts, thelas (manual carts), rickshaws, cycles and similar vehicles, which have not acquired mandatory number plate/renewed the driving license as required.
DMC has directed all owners/operators to regularise their documents and procure the prescribed number plates from DMC office without delay, failing which action will be taken as per municipal rules.
