Dmu Police appeal citizens to restrict movements in town

Dimapur Police has once again appealed to the citizens of the district to restrain themselves from unnecessary movement in the market areas, unless it was for the purpose of buying of essential items only.

In a press note, Addl. DCP Crime & PRO Dimapur police advised that during such unprecedented circumstances, public should instead cultivate new social habits such as reviewing the routine habit of daily shopping through maintenance of a basic and simple meal regime. 

PRO reminded that the temporary restrictions currently imposed in Nagaland by the state government was for ensuring safety of every individual. It is also the bounden responsibility of all to extend cooperation in this critical time, PRO stated.

While welcoming constructive criticism and also admitting certain shortcomings, PRO said the district force was currently performing its duty with all due diligence in the frontline of this pandemic outbreak.
