Dmu police nab 2 for extortion

Two alleged armed extortionists, who were found harassing businessman in Circular Road, Dimapur December 31, 2014 evening were arrested by Dimapur police.
In a press release, Dimapur Police PRO stated that the two accused have been identified as one Tokishe (49), son of late Hotoshe, “captain” of GPRN/NSCN and Kitoka (28), son of Jekuto.
PRO said the main accused Tokishe, who was armed with a M-20 pistol, had been threatening the fire cracker sellers and the duo were collecting fire crackers free of cost.  After a hot chase, Dimapur Police arrested the two accused and seized one M-20 pistol with five live rounds. Accordingly, a case has been registered with Dimapur West Police Station and investigation on, said PRO.
