DNLBC holds CNY gathering and Biblical Act competition

The Dimapur Nkonjan Lotha Baptist Churches (DN LBC) held its CNY gathering-cum-2025 Nkonjan Biblical Act/Play Competition on Saturday, hosted by Bor Lengri Lotha Baptist Church (BLBC), under the theme “Testifying Life” (Psalm 66:16).
Delivering the message, BLBC pastor Rev. Arhonthung Odyuo exhorted the congregation to live lives that reflect the grace and goodness of God. He emphasized that life, when guided by the Holy Spirit, becomes a testimony of faith, urging believers to repent, accept Christ, and become living examples of divine purpose. Addressing educators, Rev. Odyuo highlighted their role in nurturing children through faith and talent, encouraging them to continue being examples of godly living.
The program began with a welcome address by DN LBC CNY president Myingthungo Kikon, followed by worship led by BLLBC CNY. Invocation was offered by CN Medziphema’s Rosy Odyuo, and the benediction by associate CNY director Dimapur Lotha Baptist Church Priscillia.
The competition was judged by Pastor Chenirao Jungio (UBC Dhansiripar), Pastor Amos Tungoe (UBC Bamunpukhuri), and Lichumlo M. Odyuo, Assistant Professor at Discipleship Bible College. Participants were evaluated on originality, theme relevance, stage presence, clarity, time management, creativity, and costume, with a total of 50 marks.
Dimapur Lotha Baptist Church emerged as the winner, followed by Senjum Lotha Baptist Church in second place and Bor Lengri Lotha Baptist Church in third. A total of 465 students from18 Lotha churches participated in the event.
