DNSU destroys seized IMFL

Dimapur Naga Students Union (DNSU), on Friday, destroyed seized Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), worth one lakh, at DMC dumping zone, Burma Camp. 

According to DNSU officials, it was learned that illegal IMFLs worth nearly one lakh were seized in and around Dimapur, within a span of one week, during the lockdown. 

It stated that dealers were selling the illegal products, prohibiting necessary rules laid out and also despite repeated warning issued by the union, as well as by state Excise department to all liquor sellers.  

It was further informed that they were caught red handed selling the liquors more than its actual price. 

Officials of DNSU, in a complete transparent message to all liquor traders warned that the union will take its own course of action, if any individual or groups were found dealing in it. 

The seized items were destroyed in the presence of officials from Naga Women Hoho (NWH), Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) and DMC.
