DNSU flays assault on student

Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has strongly condemned the “brutal assault” on a student of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School (DBHSS), Kohima, which left the student with life-threatening injuries.


In a condemnation note, DNSU Media Cell stated that such barbaric acts have no place in civilized society, particularly in schools that should provide a safe environment.


The union appealed the authorities to conduct a swift investigation into the incident and ensure the perpetrators were brought to justice and demanded strict action to deter future violence.


DNSU also extended solidarity with the victim’s family and the Don Bosco Higher Secondary School community, and appealed all educational institutions and parents to take proactive steps to prevent such incidents in the future.
