
Diphupar Naga Students Union (DNSU) handing and taking over programme (tenure 2018-20), was held Monday at Diphupar Village Council (DVC) hall, Diphupar village.
Exhorting the gathering, Diphupar Village Council (DVC) chairman Ghuzui Shohe pointed out that student life was the most crucial period and that their participation in any activities would help shape them. To the students partaking in various organisations, he encouraged them to take the tenure as a training period and try to deliver the best in their endeavours. He also encouraged the incumbent members to cooperate with one another and set good example and be an influencer for others.
Short speech was also delivered by outgoing president and incumbent president. Induction and oath taking was presided over by election commission and prayer for the new office bearers was officiated by Tangkhul Baptist Church, Diphupar pastor reverend Candid Sareo. The executive council of DNSU for the tenure (2020-2022) is led by Mhasizolie Angami as president, Nchumthung Lotha as vice president along with 14 other members.
At the programme, general secretary report was delivered by Grizel A Ngullie, wherein he highlighted the activities conducted by the outgoing DNSU members during the two-year tenure.
Programme was chaired by Esabel Solo and vote of thanks delivered by Neivinuo Dziivichii. Earlier, invocation was pronounced by DVC, head GB Kekhwetsu Khutsoh.
