DNSU, RIFN mourn demise of former NCD president

Dimapur Naga Student’s Union (DNSU) and Rongmei Indigenous Forum Nagaland (RIFN) have mourned the demise of T. Bangerloba, former president of Naga Council Dimapur on June 2. In a condolence note, DNSU said late Bangerloba’s significant contributions and exemplary thoughts and actions have left an indelible mark to the community and office.


The union said his unwavering support towards the DNSU office and selfless service to the society will always be remembered and cherished. DNSU extended condolences to the family members and prayed that the Almighty God grant strength and solace to all the loved ones to bear the loss of the beloved leader.


In another condolence note, Rongmei Indigenous Forum Nagaland (RIFN) expressed shock and dishearten on leaning the demise of T. Bangerloba. RIFN media cell described late Bangerloba as a thorough gentleman and a man of principle.


The forum said during his tenure as the president of NCD, late Bangerloba has contributed in uplifting Dimapur city and never encouraged the practice of tribalism. RIFN further conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul rest in peace.
