Dimapur Nkonjan Yanthamo Ekhung (DNYE) has strongly condemned the alleged murder attempt on Zubemo Ngullie by unidentified masked miscreants on January 22 at his residence, Blue Hill Colony Wokha. A press release by DNYE, chairman Tsenjamo Lotha, vice chairman Rabenthung Kikon and Secretary Chichanthung Ngullie, claimed that miscreants entered the residence of Ngullie and assaulted him and his wife and looted more than Rs. 3 lakh cash and seized all the mobile phones of the family.
Expressing serious concern over the incident, DNYE said that such act of “terror and robbery” should be condemned by all right thinking citizens and urged the law enforcing agencies to book the case and take immediate action and serve befitting punishment against those culprits at the earliest.
