
Department of Health and Family Welfare (DoH&FW) organised a farewell programme for retiring principal director, Dr. Vizolie Z. Suokhrie at directorate of Health & Family Welfare on January 30.
A press release by IEC bureau (DoH&FW) stated that, minister H&FW, S. Pangnyu Phom, home commissioner government of Nagaland, Abhijit Sinha, principal secretary, H&FW Amardeep Singh Bhatia and secretary, H&FW Wezope Kenye graced the programme.
Earlier, Dr. Suokhrie in his speech conveyed that throughout his 35 years of services, there were also challenges and criticism but he encouraged those present not to be upset when they come. He further added that COVID posed as the greatest challenge, however with the spirit of teamwork, everything was made possible.
Meanwhile, voluntary speeches were also delivered by Nagaland In-Service Doctors Association (NIDA), MDNHAK, CMO & MS of districts, Nursing Association, Health & Family Welfare department and family.
Along with principal director, the farewell program was also held for DoH&FW, addl. director Dr. Medemmangyang, jt. director (Nsg), Kenonuo Rutsa and stenographer (grade-II) Pratima Lama.
