DoP&S bids farewell to outgoing director

DIMAPUR

Directorate of Printing & Stationery (DoP&S) on May 31, organised a farewell ceremony for Neituolie Phewhuo, who retired as director.
Phewhuo joined the department on May 16, 1990, and served in various capacities before taking charge as Director on May 1, 2021. During his tenure as Head of Department, he oversaw key developments, including the inauguration of the Branch Press in Chumoukidima and major construction projects, with plans for a director’s quarter underway.
In his farewell speech, Phewhuo expressed gratitude to his predecessors for their guidance and emphasized the value of senior advice in inspiring and motivating others. He also thanked the officers and staff for their dedication and urged continued cooperation to advance the department’s goals.
Speaking on behalf of the department, Joint Director Jongpongtoshi praised Phewhuo’s leadership and contributions, congratulating him on his years of dedicated service.
The event, chaired by Registrar L. Ongpa Phom, included greetings from assistant directors of the Branch Press Offices in Mokokchung and Chumukedima.
