The Directorate of School Education (DoSE) has announced the names of 24 teachers selected for the State Award 2016 along with list of four teachers who would be given Financial Assistance on account of serious health ground. The four teachers who would receive financial assistance are: V. Ango Phom, P/T appointed on 31.03.1984, GPS Yongam, Longleng ; Y. Tongmeth, P/T appointed on 12.04.1982 GPS Chinglong-A, Mon; B. Carolyn Imchen, G/T (ad hoc) appointed on 01.08.2009 GMS Pongentola, Mokokchung DEO Zunheboto , and Hoshito, DDEO Zunheboto appointed on 21.08.1987.
DoSe informed that the selected teachers would be awarded on September 5 on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
In this regard, DoSE has requested the State Awardees to attend the State Level Teachers’ Day function on September 5 to be held at NBCC Convention Centre Kohima and receive the awards in person positively. With regards to Financial Assistance, DoSE noted that DEO/SDEO may collect the financial assistance from DoSE Kohima with authorization from the concerned teachers between September 7 to 15, 2016.
