DoSE bid farewell to principal secretary

Department of School Education (DoSE) and its sister departments with special invitees from other departments bade farewell to principal secretary, School Education (SE) and State Council Educational Research and Training (SCERT), F.P. Solo, on February 23 who was retiring on superannuation w.e.f  Febraury 28.
Speaking at the programme, F.P. SOLO took the opportunity to honour the faithful services of each officers and staff and exhorted them to be regular, punctual and dedicated in their work.
Further, he encouraged them to continue to serve the department selflessly to bring about transformation. 
All the officers and staff thanked him and his family and conveyed the best wishes. 
Later, the programme ended with the vote of thanks from additional secretary, SCERT Koteno.
Meanwhile, in honour of the out-going officer, a programme was organised at Hotel Vivor, Kohima, which was chaired by Sarah R. Ritse, secretray SE and invocation prayer by DMD, SSA, T. Keditsu.
Earlier, the officers of SE, SCERT, NBSE, SSA, RMSA and Tongtikala, PS to the out-going principal secretary delivered their farewell messages while JE (engg wing) Imnanukshi presented a special song.
It may be noted that F.P. Solo started his service journey as an IPoS in 1984 and also served as under-secretary and deputy secretary in the ministry of defence, government Of India, director, postal services, Kohima, director, ATI-cum-OSD (law), commissioner and secretary, H&TE, and retired in the rank of principal secretary SE & SCERT.
