A three-day in-house training cum interactive session for ministerial staff of the Directorate of School Education (DoSE) commenced on April 27 at Samagra Hall, Directorate of School Education, Kohima.
In his inaugural address, Deenabandhu Panda, additional director, DoSE, encouraged participants to be sincere in their duties. He emphasised that while staff should be well-versed in their assigned responsibilities, they should also acquaint themselves with the functioning of other sections. Altogether 40 ministerial staff are attending the programme, which will culminate on April 29. The resource person for the opening day, Andreas Lotha, retired deputy secretary to the Government of Nagaland, highlighted the Nagaland Government Servant Conduct Rules, filing system and management of daks. Topics to be covered during the three-day training include Nagaland Education Service Rules 2017, APAR, service book, personal file, leave rules, noting and drafting, with resource persons from the Secretariat (Education Branch) and P&AR Department. The inaugural session was chaired by Vichuhu, training officer, DoSE.
