In continuation to the Directorate of School Education’s (DoSE) notification, the Principal Director of School Education has informed all concerned that the modalities for the implementation of the provisions of the ‘Nagaland Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (manner of admission of minimum 25 % children in Class I or pre-school at the entry level for the children belonging to disadvantaged groups and weaker sections) Rules, 2016’ are being formulated by the department.
According to a DIPR report, all concerned have been informed to wait for the notification regarding the modalities for the implementation of the provisions of Section 12 (1) (C) of the RTE Act, 2009. Till such time, it informed that this office notification shall be kept on hold.
