
Directorate of school education organized one-day training cum interactive session for the assistants of DEO/SDEO with additional secretary to the government of Nagaland, Neposo Theluo as the chief guest at zonal council hall on Wednesday.
In his address Theluo urged the participants to update themselves with the rules and office procedure to enable them to work effectively. He reminded them that unless they were thorough or well versed with the assigned duty there would be lapses in their performance. Encouraging the participants to read and learn more, he said the rule book was the Bible and unless the concerned persons were updated with the office procedures, their sincerity and dedication alone would not make them excellent in their work.
He said reading and learning was never too late and was required even after retirement. He also advised the participants to know their entitlement provisions which were provided by the government for them. He also stressed the importance of maintaining files properly for future reference.
The resource persons of the training were additional secretary to the government of Nagaland, G. Kevishe Phucho and SCERT Kohima, Dr. Zavise Rume. Phucho shared on filing system, drafting and noting and had interactive session. Dr. Rume talked on soft skill approach and counseling, leave rules, conduct and appeal rules, preparation for service confirmation and DPC, pension rules and had interactive session.
The inaugural session was led by assistant director DSE, Amenla Tonger, innovation prayer said by statistical officer, Tsupithong and welcome address was delivered by director DSE, Senthang.
Office assistants of DEO/SDEO from various district of the state participated the training programme.
