Department of School Education has informed the head of schools (both government and private) that no students should be denied admission due to non-availability of Permanent Education Number (PEN) and Aadhaar ID.
For students without PEN, the department informed schools to admit them and submit their details to EBRCs as a missed-out student in UDISE+ portal for generation of their PEN.
Parents are to be sensitised for enrolling their ward in nearest Aadhaar enrolment centre.
