In pursuance of the special vaccination drive for students in the age group 15 -18 years organised by Department of Health & Family Welfare (DH&WF), Directorate of School Education(DoSE) has informed that COVID vaccination drive would be held from January 13 onwards at selected Government Higher Secondary Schools (GHSS) across the state.
According to DIPR report, the department has advised all parents to get their children in the age group 15-18 voluntarily vaccinated for Covid-19 at the nearest special vaccination centres free of cost.
The department has also directed all heads of all schools (all boards, government and private) to disseminate the information to parents of all eligible students studying in their schools through school whatsapp groups and other communication channels.
Heads of the designated special vaccination centre have been directed to extend necessary logistic support and cooperation to the officials of DH&WF for organizing the vaccination drive.
