Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) Kohima, organized a three-day workshop on National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for the state-run polytechnics in Nagaland at Government Polytechnic Kohima (GPK) from May 27 to 29.
A press release from GPK principal, Er. Keyiekhru Rhutso stated that, Dinesh Kumar, commissioner & secretary of Higher &Technical Education, graced the valedictory programme as special guest.
He stressed on the importance of NBA accreditation and also shared that polytechnics will have no future without NBA certification.
Tiakaba Amer, project director DoTE, chaired the valedictory programme while Keyiekhru Rhutso, principal, GPK pronounced vote of thanks. Dr. Rayapati Subbarao, Faculty of National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research (NITTTR), Kolkata, was the resource person for the workshop.
