The first monthly meeting of District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) Dimapur was held on February 11, 2025, where developmental projects and administrative issues were discussed.

Advisor of Tribal Affairs and Election, H. He also encouraged members to engage actively in discussions and share their views for a productive session.

At the meeting, two new members, Limatoshi Changkiri, SE, Excise Department, and Imnanukshi, Joint RCS, Cooperation were welcomed by DC Dimapur, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang.
The key agendas discussed during the meeting were: to change the location for the Iconic Project under Dimapur-I A/C, registrations of Society- Jingkhu Welfare Society and Word of Faith Ministry.

The expansion of the road at West Yard Colony between Hokishe Sema Road and Marwari Patti Road was also discussed and it was decided that the administration will write to the Army authorities at Rangapahar regarding the matter.

The board also discussed on the shortage of non-judicial stamps in Dimapur affecting the public, especially the students. It was highlighted that although there are 55-56 licensed vendors, many do not have proper shops, leading to frequent shortages in the market.

To address this, the district administration will conduct surprise inspections to ensure vendors operate from their designated locations. Additionally, the board discussed the possibility of making non-judicial stamps available digitally to ease accessibility for the public.

The board decided that DPDB meetings will be held on 20th of every month and if the date falls on a holiday, the meeting will take place on the next working day.

Transport Department gave a PowerPoint presentation highlighting key safety initiatives. The next presentations will be made by the Health & Family Welfare Department and the Economic & Statistics Department.

The meeting concluded with discussions on streamlining the distribution process of non-judicial stamps and ensuring strict compliance with licensing regulations.
