DPDB Kohima for women livelihood training

Kohima District Development Planning Board (DPDB) for women livelihood training on detergent washing powder (surf) and dish wash gel making was jointly organized by NCUI Project Kohima and ATMA Kohima on May 31 at SCERT training hall, Kohima.
Introductory session was chaired by project officer NCUI Kohima, Ketholenuo and invocation prayer was pronounced by chairperson, Women Society, Perizie, Aleno Yalie. 
The key note speech was delivered by SDO (C) convenor, Ward Adoption Committee, Kethosituo Sekhose. In his speech he encouraged the women trainees to give importance in local production not only for domestic use but also for commercial purpose which could generate income for the family. 
He further urged the ward women to utilize the training and put into practice for self sustenance and not for the sake of participation. 
He also briefed about the programs undertaken by Kohima District Planning Board under the leadership of the chairman DPDB, parlimentary secretary for Youth Resources and Sports, Khriehu Liezietsu.
The practical session on income generation on detergent washing powder (surf) and dish wash gel was demonstrated by CEI, NCUI Project, Kohima, Keneilezo Senotsu.
Vote of thanks was delivered by chairman and leader of Panchayat Ward-1, Zasilhoulie. He thanked the organizers and the DPDB Kohima High School Ward Panchayat Adoption Committee comprising of 6 colonies and imparting training programs which was the first of its kind in the ward. 
He expressed gratitude to DAO and PD, ATMA, Vizonyü Liezietsu for his initiative.
The day long programe was participated by women from all the 6 colonies of ward-1 including DPDB Ward Adoption Committee members and colony chairmen and leaders.
