Khuzama Village Adoption Committee (2014-15) implementation program under the theme “together we progress” was organized by DPDB Kohima on August 28 at its village council hall.
As part of DPDB Kohima yearlong activities 2014-15, the board has selected four villages and two wards, one in each assembly constituency to be adopted by a committee consisting departmental heads with the concerned elected members as advisor. Short speeches on departmental activities were delivered by EE Power Er. Rükongutuo, DYRO Khriekethoü Kense, District Comdt HG Mulai Lamnia, GM Industries Temjen Jamir, BDO Khovi and DHO Qhutovi Wotsa. The gathering was also exhorted by PS to MLA SA-II, Voto Neikha and VCC Khuzama, Mehozol Hibo. In the afternoon session, the committee also gave away different items. Demonstration of mock drills on basic life saving techniques and disaster management were also shown to the villagers.
