Monthly District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meetings of Mon and Tuensang districts were held Saturday at respective district. According to DIPR reports, Mon DPDB meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and vice chairman DPDB, Ajit Kumar Verma at the Conference Hall of DC Mon Office.
During the meeting, the board deliberated on key agenda items, including the construction of the Sr Treasury Office building and the fencing of ADC Naganimora office. The board also approved the celebration of Mon district golden jubilee in December 2023.
A comprehensive PowerPoint presentation on departmental activities was delivered by District Fishery Officer Mon, Angun Wangshu. In Tuensang, the DPDB meeting cum picnic was held at Shopilak Resort under the chairmanship of Imtichuba, MLA, and chairman DPDB Tuensang.
During the meeting, SDO(C) Noksen, Rohbi Sangtam after reviewing the minutes of the last month’s meeting, proposed that the next DPDB meeting be held in Noksen Town. The DC Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa also issued a notification to all village councils to assist the power department.
DC Tuensang also asked the district HoDs with additional charge of Noklak and Shamator districts to attend the planning meeting without fail.
The board decided to recommend to the department the addition of a parking area on the ground floor of the newly constructed DC Office Tuensang.
