DPDB Meluri holds first meeting

District Planning & Development Board (DPDB), Meluri, held its first meeting on May 27, 2025, at DB’s Court, Meluri. The meeting was chaired by Advisor for New & Renewable Energy (N&RE) and Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Z. Nyusietho Nyuthe.
According to DIPR, Nyuthe welcomed all members of the newly formed DPDB and emphasized the importance of teamwork in ensuring the board functions effectively. He urged members to attend meetings regularly and actively participate.
Key discussions included a proposal to establish a Model College at Meluri district Headquarters and a grant-in-aid request for Shilloi Mission School, Weziho. Both matters were taken up for review and recommendation.
The Board also honored Yasmin Begam Laskar for securing a Top-20 rank in the HSLC Examination 2025. She received a citation and cash reward in recognition of her academic achievement.
