Zetta Farms, a Gurgoan based company, pioneering force in agricultural innovation has announced its significant expansion into Nagaland with a signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to empower local farmers.
An MoU for 5000 acres of land has been signed between DPDB Tseminyu and Zeeta Farms on August 19 at Tseminyu to promote economic growth, preserve natural ecosystems, and empower local farmers.
Through this partnership, the company will leverage the government’s infrastructure support while taking on the responsibility of managing and enhancing agricultural production.
The innovative “Zetta Rozgaar Yojna” will play a vital role in empowering local farmers, with one farmer employed for every two additional acres of land under cultivation, the release stated.
In addition, Zetta Farms has also dedicated to ensuring the well-being of its workforce by providing pension funds and insurance coverage for all farm workers associated with the initiative.
Rituraj, CEO of Zetta Farms, expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating, “We believe in the potential of Nagaland to flourish as a model of sustainable agricultural growth. Zetta Farm’s successful expansion in Nagaland can be attributed to the efforts of key individuals such as Ar.Jwenga Seb, MLA and chairman District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) Tseminyu, G.K. Rengma, Abhijeet Sahoo, State Coordinators of Zetta Farms, and Udit Singhal, Director of Business Development at Zetta Farms.
Zetta Farms also aimed to uplift the lives of farmers by offering them access to advanced agricultural techniques, modern equipment, and a reliable market for their produce.
The Zetta Farms will extend its support to the farm workers of Nagaland, enabling them to achieve higher yields, reduced wastage, and an overall enhanced livelihood.
