The party has appealed to all the sections of the people and all the political parties to continue to extend support to the People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) government and PDA consensus candidate in the forthcoming elections.
The meeting, chaired by NDPP parliamentary board convenor and chief minister Neiphiu Rio and co-chaired by NDPP president Chingwang Konyak, deliberated on the forthcoming elections to the Lok Sabha and the necessary preparations to be undertaken to face the ensuing elections.
At the meeting, the house congratulated the state government under the leadership of the chief minister for the series of new initiatives and achievements that Nagaland has made in the present tenure.
