Dr. Kekhrie Yhome, who won the assembly election from 10-Northern Angami-I Assembly Constituency on NDPP ticket held a thanksgiving programme at Naga Solidarity park on Saturday.
Speaking at the programme, Dr Kekhrie acknowledged the people for their support and thanked them for giving him the opportunity to serve as their representative. He asserted that he would stand in the assembly for the people for development activities and to work for their welfare.
Dr Yhome also thanked all the representatives and electorates for exercising their franchises in choosing him as their leader and mouth piece.
Further, he encouraged the elders, public and stakeholders to guide him and appealed them to work with him in days to come.
