Advisor Treasuries and Accounts and National Highway, Dr. Longrineken on November 26 inaugurated Mangkolemba Central Park at Zero point where the foundation stone of Mangkolemba block was laid by the then DC, Major Keating in 1962.
According to DIPR, Dr. Longrineken lauded the ADC and all those involved in building the much needed recreational area of the town. He stated that it was the duty of each and every individual of Mangkolemba to take care and maintain the park.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Mangkolemba Child Development Project Officer, R Imtinukshi, introductory note was given by ADC Mangkolemba Razouvolie Dozo, short speeches were also delivered by vice chairman, Mangkolemba Town Council and president, Mangkolemba Ao Lanur Telongjem. Vote of thanks was proposed by Atsung Walling, convenor Mangkolemba Central Park Construction Committee and SDO (civil) Mangkolemba.
