Dr. Neiphiu Rio condoles demise of Khamo’s mother

DIMAPUR

Nagaland chief minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio has expressed deep sorrow upon learning of the passing of Nühüsolü Khamo, the beloved mother of advisor, Kudecho Khamo, on August 29 in Dimapur.
In his condolence message, Dr. Rio described Nühüsolü as a woman of great strength, compassion, and faith. He acknowledged her as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who stood by her family through all circumstances. Following the untimely death of her husband, Nühüsolü courageously raised her children single-handedly, nurturing them into responsible and compassionate citizens.
Dr. Rio further highlighted Nühüsolü’s unwavering faith in God, her gentle spirit, and her life of sacrifice, which instilled enduring values of humility, kindness, and perseverance in her children.
“Her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but we give thanks to God for her remarkable life and the lasting legacy she leaves behind,” Dr. Rio stated. “Her legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.”
The Chief Minister conveyed condolences to Kudecho Khamo and all family members, and prayed that Almighty God grant them solace, strength, and courage to bear this irreparable loss.
