Advisor Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Dr. Nicky Kire along with principal secretary Urban Development and officials of the department and Development Authority of Nagalland (DAN) visited and inspected Old Dhansiri Bridge which is under construction on August 21.
A press release from OSD Municipal Affairs, Kohima, Sanjay Pandey stated that, as per assurance given by EE, Urban Development, the bridge will be completed by 2020 and the work was satisfactory.
The team also visited the DAN complex and discussed about developmental activities like city centre in the area.
The team also inspected the IHSDP (Housing for urban poor at United North Block-B), and appreciated the work completed by the department. The advisor also held a meeting with the administrator DMC and all the staff/officials of DMC on August 22, to enquire about the functioning and suggested for improvement of the activities to help the citizens.
