DIMAPUR: Philanthropist and social worker Dr. Roland Lotha has received a personal invitation from Hugo Alcaraz, president of Parlamento Fe Paraguay, to visit Paraguay in November for high level engagements.
The visit will focus on strengthening faith based, civil society and parliamentary cooperation towards community development and poverty alleviation.
According to the tentative itinerary, Dr. Lotha will hold meetings with the leadership of Parlamento Fe Paraguay to deliberate on collaborative programmes in healthcare access, rural development and education for underprivileged communities. He is also scheduled to engage in policy dialogues with senior government officials and senators of the Republic of Paraguay on humanitarian partnerships, poverty alleviation, skill development and sustainable livelihood projects.
Further interactions will include stakeholder meetings with faith based organisations, civil society leaders, NGOs and grassroots agencies to explore joint initiatives for poor and marginalised populations.
The invitation, issued by the secretary to Dr. Lotha, recognises his long standing service and commitment to vulnerable communities. His mission aims to build bridges for knowledge exchange and mobilise global support for those in need.
